GAF Energy’s roof-integrated solar will be featured on the upcoming episode of the Emmy-winning home-improvement series "This Old House®."

The episode will feature the remodel of a century-old Cape Ann Shingle Style home in Massachusetts that now features a GAF Energy integrated solar roof. The episode demonstrates the flexibility and attractiveness of GAF Energy’s solar products.

The episode (season 41, episode 22) is airing on local Public Broadcast Service (PBS) channels and will be available online at ThisOldHouse.com on May 3.

GAF Energy empowers roofing contractors across the U.S. with a comprehensive and economical approach to solar installations. The GAF Energy solar system couples innovative, attractive, and affordable solar technology with fast, easy installation. Designed to provide a good-looking, low-profile alternative to typical rack-mounted solar panels — which are typically drilled through the roof’s shingles — GAF Energy solar integrates directly with the roofing system and is part of the primary water-shedding layer.

The new super high-efficiency solar panels optimize power output and maximize aesthetic appeal, combined with robust flashing and a sleek black perimeter shield to further reduce the risk of leaks and avoid animal intrusion.
