The roofing industry was shocked and saddened by the loss of Dan Dallenbach, who died on July 21.
Dallenbach, 61, was the territory sales manager for Roofmaster in Inland Empire, Orange County, San Diego and Las Vegas. Prior to joining Roofmaster in 2013, he worked for companies such as GAF, Tarco, Burbank Roofing Supply and RSG. He earned a bachelor of arts in political science/economics and accounting from the College of the Holy Cross in 1980.
Dallenbach was also active in local roofing contractor associations, including as a board member on the San Diego Roofing Contractors Association, where he championed safety measures for all roofers.
He is survived by his wife and two adult sons. He will be cremated and his ashes spread in Sierra Madre and along the Central Coast. Dallenbach’s family asks that any condolence cards be sent to Roofmaster, which the company will forward on.
Donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association. No service has been planned at this time.
