Merging major manufacturing companies in the roofing space is challenging enough without the weight of an economic freefall caused by a lingering health crisis. But that wasn’t the approach Doug Kramer and the others at the newly-formed Hunstman Building Solutions took when faced with putting together a $350-million deal at the height of a global pandemic.
