Stability and predictability are essential to positioning a roofing contractor for success in any market. But after a challenging 2020, many roofing business owners are learning that finding their footing in a down economy can be tough.
Roofing Contractor wants to help. As we have for the past decade, RC circulated our annual survey to roofing contractors around the country last fall in an attempt to measure the pulse of an industry deemed essential in the face of a global health crisis. We also recently brought in the head researcher that designed the survey, and a roofing industry veteran to break down the results and lend their expertise to put the data into perspective.
“There’s still a lot of good optimism out there, even after last year, but it is regional,” said John Kenney, COO of Cotney Attorneys & Consultants, during his presentation.
In addition to sales expectations, the interactive webinar also covered:
- Market trends related to roof installations and products
- New technology and how to integrate it into day-to-day operations
- How to overcome current and future industry challenges
- Improve productivity and operational efficiency
Kenney said that among his goals is to provide roofing contractors with a few new tools to work with in 2021. He sees a year full of uncertainty and turmoil giving way to optimism and opportunity for roofing contractors ready to embrace accelerating change.
“Technology is a means to survival, it’s part of our day-to-day now,” Kenney explained. “If you don’t jump on it and embrace it, you’ll absolutely be left behind.”
The 2021 State of the Industry Webinar is available on-demand until February 2022.
