The cleanup from Hurricane Ida is just beginning along the Gulf Coast and roofing contractors already feeling the pinch from a tightened supply market are likely to be in pain in the weeks ahead, said says Trent Cotney, CEO of Cotney Attorneys & Consultants.

“The supply chain was already in rough shape, and now this will put more stress on the system,” Cotney said of the Category 4 storm in his latest RC Legal Insights video. “We are in a crisis situation. These storms, and this is only the first of many (expected) this season, are only going to exacerbate that.”

Cotney also discussed some predictions for when things may start to get better or back to normal and his and why he’s looking forward to speaking at Best of Success in Dallas.
