Elite Roofing Supply announced its newest branch will open on Dec. 6 in Atlanta, making it the 21st branch of the roofing distributor.

The new branch will be led by Brian McGrew, who has served Atlanta's roofing community for nearly a decade. Prior to relocating to Atlanta, McGrew worked for his father's roofing company. He spent the next few years in roofing distribution, where he met Andres Recio and Juan Rosero, new outside sales reps in Atlanta.

“I love the people, work ethic, and technical expertise you find in the roofing industry,” said McGrew. “I’ve been following Elite for years…the way they take care of their people, the way they go to market, and how they dominate the markets they enter…so I’m excited to bring the Elite brand to Georgia, especially the exceptional service and world-class safety culture.”

Recio and Rosero bring more than 16 years of roofing industry experience to their outside sales roles with Elite. Recio started his own roofing supply store, Shingle Market, two years ago and felt in order to fully serve his customer base, it was time to unwind his business and join the Elite family.

“I look forward to being able to serve a larger geographic market and offer my customers more inventory and resources,” Reico said. “I know that joining Elite is the best next step for my family, my team and myself, and I’m excited to see what’s in store.”

When asked for his thoughts about working with Recio and McGrew, Rosero explained that when he worked for IKO, McGrew's brothers were his customers, which is how they initially met.

"Andres was also one of my customers, and I’ve known him and his family for quite some time. Needless to say, I have a great deal of respect for Brian and Andres and I know that together, we’re a force to be reckoned with," said Rosero.

Sarah Weiss, CEO and president, said the Atlanta branch marks an "incredible milestone" for Elite, as the company has officially expanded east of the Mississippi.

"At Elite, we open a branch when we find the right people. We don’t target particular cities, we are building Elite based on going where the right people are," Weiss said. "We’ve certainly found the right people in Brian, Andres and Juan and an incredibly diverse, rapidly growing market to serve.”
