CINCINNATI — KYOCERA SENCO Industrial Tools (SENCO) introduced the SN71P1, a new coil nailer for attaching siding, including tough fiber cement board and engineered lumber sidings.
Built for productivity, the SN71P1 features a high-capacity coil drum that holds up to 375 nails so users spend less time reloading and more time fastening. It also enables users to work with a wide variety of fasteners – the drum magazine holds nails from 1.25 inches to 2.5 inches long and .082 to .092 inches in diameter, and it accommodates both wire- and plastic-collated nails.
“We engineered the SN71P1 to provide users power and flexibility needed for today’s jobs and materials, which require a high degree of both,” said Ryan Schuler, product manager for SENCO’s pneumatic construction tools. “It’s well-balanced, durable and incorporates all of the advanced, user-driven improvements we’ve developed for SENCO nailers over the last decade.”
The SN71P1 packs added power compared to SENCO’s previous-generation tools to excel in denser construction materials, and it features a redesigned, overmolded grip that reduces slipping and vibration fatigue. Other features include:
- Durable magnesium body
- Durable steel magazine
- EZ-Load magazine with clear door to see when it's time to reload
- Tool-free depth of drive adjustment
- Rotatable, heavy-duty aluminum belt/rafter hook
- Selectable actuation trigger for bump or sequential firing
- Debris shield to protect the user
In addition to siding, the SN71P1 can be used for many jobs that require similar gauge nails, such as decking, exterior trim, fencing, installing wood shingles, crate assembly and any other task in which speed and productivity is a priority.
The SN71P1 is backed by a five-year limited warranty and is available now from SENCO professional tool distributors in the U.S. and Canada. For locations and more information, visit senco.com.
