The Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) recognizes the winners of its various awards during its 2021 MRCA Conference and Expo, including the James Q. McCawley Award, its most prestigious honor.
This year’s McCawley Award went to Larry Marshall, president of L Marshall Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc. in Glenview, Ill. Marshall, a past president of the MRCA, entered the industry in the late '70s while attending law school at night. After graduating, he transformed L Marshall Roofing from a residential to commercial roofing business. It is in its 108th year in business, and in 2013, earned Roofing Contractor’sCommercial Contractor of the Year honor.
