CHICAGO — Jobba announced the availability of its roofing software in multiple languages, including Spanish. With a growing Spanish-speaking workforce, the ability for all employees to communicate effectively in their first language is now being met within Jobba roofing software.

According to the Department of Labor: “The number of Hispanic workers in the labor force has grown from 10.7 million in 1990 to 29.0 million in 2020 today and is projected to reach 35.9 million in 2030. The sector with the highest concentration of Hispanic workers is farming, fishing and forestry at 43.0%. In second place is building and grounds cleaning and maintenance, at 37.9%; followed by construction and extraction at 35.7%.”

The 2018 census notes that approximately 27% of construction workers are speaking in their first language, Spanish.

With the ongoing increase of refugees, immigrants and the overall rise in Spanish as a first language, the need for multi-language software continues to grow.

“Whether it’s for helping sales deliver accurate estimates, keeping service on schedule, multiplying inspections, or providing vital details to the office staff, the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages is critical for roofing companies,” said Scott Keith, Jobba CEO. “We are proud that we offer roofing contractors the best roofing technology now in several languages.  It is streamlining manual processes and accelerating growth for Jobba customers.”

With easy-to-use language toggle features, Jobba’s multi-language platform continues to break new ground in the roofing industry with the potential of supporting over 100 languages.
