ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Pink Energy — formerly POWERHOME SOLAR — will be expanding with both sales and installation offices in Allentown, Pa.
"We are excited to be opening these new offices in Allentown, Pennsylvania," Pink Energy President and COO Steve Murphy said. "Our expansion into eastern Pennsylvania will help thousands more customers go green."
The company expects to open the new offices within the next few weeks. Like the Pittsburgh and Harrisburg Pink Energy locations, job seekers can expect online postings for several available roles involving sales, sales support, and production. Those seeking a position with Pink Energy can visit in person at either the sales office located at 951 Marcon Blvd, Suite 1 in Allentown, or the production office at 1020 Airport Rd in Allentown. Those interested may also search openings online at gopink.com/about/careers, or send an email to careers@gopink.com.
Pennsylvanians who are customers of investor-owned utilities are eligible for the state's net metering program. The program allows homeowners with solar energy systems of up to a 50-kilowatt capacity to feed the grid excess energy that was collected from their solar panels. Participating homeowners are then granted a credit towards their utility bill.
This Allentown location will cater to consumers within an approximately 100-mile radius. Those interested in adding solar at their home can soon set an appointment with Pink Energy for installation.
