The passing of President Joe Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act will have a big impact on businesses in the roofing trade, says RC Legal Insights Expert Trent Cotney, of Adams and Reese. Among other goals, the legislation aims to address climate change by committing $369 billion in programs and incentives. That’s a lot of potential opportunities for contractors in the roofing and construction trades.

“Putting this money into the pot is very important,” Cotney said in this brief video. “Anything we can do to help the environment is important, but we really have to look at whether or not we can really service some of these requirements.”
