SAN JOSE, Calif. and GEORGETOWN, Texas — GAF Energy's Vice President of Marketing and Public Policy Keally DeWitt has been honored as a "Top Leader in Technology" in the Energy Management Category by Parks & Associates.

The honor comes in advance of the Parks & Associates Smart Energy Summit, held Feb. 13–15 in Austin, Texas where both DeWitt and GAF Energy President Martin DeBono will speak about the future of energy. GAF Energy, a Standard Industries company, is the manufacturer of the award winning Timberline Solar™ roof.

DeWitt is part of the team that has made the Timberline Solar Energy Shingle one of the most-awarded solar shingles in the world. Since its launch in early 2022, Timberline Solar has received more than 30 design and innovation awards, including from CES, TIME, Roofing Contractor, Fast Company, Popular Science, Green Builder, Good Housekeeping, and the National Association of Home Builders. 

To meet growing demand for the solar shingle, GAF Energy is increasing its Timberline Solar manufacturing capacity with the construction of a new 450,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Georgetown, Texas.
