Pegnato, an innovation concern that created a platform connecting national roofing portfolio managers with pre-vetted top roofing contractors, recently expanded its executive team by naming Jason Domecq as Vice President of Project Management and Technical Services.
The privately-held company, based in Marina Del Ray, Calif., created a national network of commercial roofing contractors its users — asset and portfolio managers — can call on for their properties’ roofing needs. Called the Pegnato Roof Intelligence Network, the platform serves the retail, shopping center and restaurant chain sectors, managing roof systems on more than 10,000 buildings. Pregnato says it services a portfolio of roof assets worth $2 billion. Think of it as “Angi’s List” for commercial property managers.
Domecq comes to Pegnato with several years of commercial roofing experience and is a former owner of CP&M and R3NG, a Colorado-based general contracting and commercial roofing company. In a news release, Pregnato notes that Domecq received several awards from national companies as a principal at R3NG, including from GAF, which recognized the company for its “outstanding installation quality and customer service standards.”
“Pegnato’s unique approach to roofing services contracting and management with the PRIN platform is a real game-changer for national portfolio managers,” Domecq said. “I’m excited about helping Pegnato maintain its impeccable customer service record as it expands into new markets.”
The company’s PRIN platform connects portfolio and asset managers with certified local roofing contractors, allowing users to obtain bids, schedule jobs, and view dashboards that report individual and overall roof conditions and ages.
“We look forward to working with Jason and are particularly enthusiastic about his career-long commitment to customer service,” said Bill Pegnato, Co-CEO of Pegnato. “Adding Jason to our team really prepares us for the next phase of our continuing growth.”
