Highland Commercial Roofing, a commercial roofing company based in Los Angeles and currently with locations serving seven western states, announced the appointment of Michael King as executive vice president of sales.
According to a release, King joins Highland amidst a major company expansion. He will provide new leadership for Highland’s growing sales team and provide added resources for marketing to help propel the company through its next phase of growth.
“I have a longstanding professional relationship with Michael and have witnessed firsthand his remarkable expertise and innovative thinking,” said Rick Cunningham, executive chairman of Highland Commercial Roofing. “Michael will guide our growth trajectory and drive our company to new heights, and I’m excited to collaborate with him."
King joins Highland after a 18-year career managing and growing roofing and manufacturing companies across the country. Highland says his achievements in sales leadership and expanding corporate profitability will be essential the company's expansion across the western U.S. Specifically, King’s appointment supports the company’s recent efforts to expand into new markets in Southern Utah, Idaho and Tucson, Ariz.

King was most recently the vice president of sales at Tropical Roofing Products in Florida. He completed Columbia University’s executive MBA program and earned a degree in chemical engineering from University of California at Berkley.
