In this episode of “Dear Anna,” Art Unlimited CEO and marketing guru Anna Anderson explains how roofing contractors can make the most of their time at trade shows and other industry events. With the 2024 International Roofing Expo in Las Vegas just around the corner, Anderson said the place for roofers to start is with education.
“I have a strategic plan … to look at the educational sessions and identify who or what types of groups I want to meet in person, because that’s what I’m looking for, your face-to-face time,” she said. “Then, what is the pain point or item that I need to solve.”
She said an easy rule for any roofing contractor to follow is to plan to come away with three manageable takeaways.
“To me, if we’re effective in implementing three changes within our company’s ecosystem, that’s a win,” Anderson said.
