Shipment numbers for shingles, BUR and modified bitumen have shrank when comparing the third quarter to Q2 2024, according to the latest report from the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association.

The Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association is seeking submissions for the 2025 Excellence in Asphalt Roofing Awards where contractors can showcase their top asphalt roofing projects from the past three years. 

Products like mod bit saw its best quarter ever, while other products saw modest increases compared to Q1 2024.

Some of the largest increases and decreases for Q1 product shipments have occurred this year, according to data from the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association.

The deadline to submit a project for consideration for the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association’s annual Excellence in Asphalt Roofing Awards is coming up fast: applications must be submitted by Dec. 1.
