The Davis Memorial Foundation, a supporter of construction education since 1997, will expand its focus on roofing, raise scholarship awards to 15 at $5,000 each, and fund SkillsUSA grants.

The Material Handling Education Foundation, Inc. raised more than $80k at this year’s MHI Annual Conference to fund scholarships for material handling students and support a skilled industry workforce.

Current and future students received their scholarships from the Davis Memorial Foundation during the Western Roofing Expo in Las Vegas. 

S-5! and National Women in Roofing have collaborated to launch a scholarship program supporting women pursuing careers in the skilled trades by offering financial aid, mentorship, and educational resources.

The Roofing Alliance announced the 2024-25 Melvin Kruger Endowed Scholarship recipients, including 11 new awardees and 12 renewals; eligibility includes all roofing industry employees, their families, and construction management students.

The MRCA Foundation announced 22 winners of its annual scholarships, providing financial aid to employees and families of MRCA member companies pursuing higher education.

Students pursuing a post-secondary education in college or vocational programs in roofing or a similar field are encouraged to apply for the annual scholarship program.

The Material Handling Education Foundation, Inc. distributed $231,700 in scholarships to 61 students for 2024/2025, reflecting its commitment to education in material handling, logistics, and supply chain management. 

The Metal Construction Association recently awarded scholarships to five outstanding students from member companies, supporting their pursuits in nursing, mechanical engineering, physical therapy, and pharmacy.
