Top officials from the National Roofing Contractors Association met with President Trump’s Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney as part of Roofing Day in D.C. 2019.
Roofing Day in D.C. 2019 kicked off Wednesday with about 500 representatives of roofing converged on the nation’s capitol, intent on making the industry’s biggest concerns known on Capitol Hill.
"We just don't push working with your hands anymore. We've been pushing kids toward four-year degrees and that’s really hurt our industry," explained the founder of ROOF Management.
More than 400 roofing contractors and industry stakeholders from across the United States met with members of congress and legislative staff last week to relay their concerns as part of the first-ever Roofing Day.
