 As part of the RoofPoint rating program for sustainable roofing systems, the Center has developed a unique approach to the selection of energy-efficient roof surfaces.  

 When we think about “sustainable” or “green,” we tend to focus on the environmental aspects of sustainability, including key natural resources of energy, air, water and materials.  

Every year in the United States more than 3 billion square feet of nonresidential roofs are installed on new and existing buildings.
