With the emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the roofing space, contractors may not know where to look for opportunities or even understand the potential impact the evolving technology can have on their business. Art Unlimited CEO Anna Anderson was an early adopter and is now training roofers on how to use AI effectively – and in ways that go beyond just creating content.

“It that’s myth that it’s just to create written content, when in actuality AI has the tentacles to go anywhere and everywhere,” she said.

Marketing is certainly an area where AI can help roofers, but Anderson said that it’s already proving to be a differentiator with customer service. Integrating CRM data with AI has enormous potential in predictive analysis for sales, operational efficiency and more.

"When we look at sales we see a more interactive journey emerge,” Anderson explained. “We’re able to understand how users buy, and we can create dynamic experiences through AI inputs to say ‘here’s five characteristics that you are purchasing off of, and the narrative can support their buying decision.”
